Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Materi Norma Pendidikan Pancasila
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dipilih karena model ini menekankan pemecahan masalah nyata, yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, keterlibatan siswa, serta mendorong mereka untuk berpikir kritis dan mandiri dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi norma dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas V SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas V, yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes (pre-test dan post-test), observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa kelas V. Rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 66,40, meningkat menjadi 85,20 pada post-test. Hasil uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai sig. = 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Disarankan bagi guru untuk menerapkan model ini guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik, kontekstual, serta meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

ABSTRACT
The Problem Based Learning model was chosen because it emphasizes solving real-world problems, which can enhance students' understanding, engagement, and encourage them to think critically and independently in completing academic tasks. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' learning outcomes in the norms material in the Pancasila Education subject for fifth-grade students at SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. This study employed a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 20 fifth-grade students, selected using the saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through tests (pre-test and post-test), observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using a normality test and a hypothesis test with the Paired Sample t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes. The average pre-test score was 66.40, which increased to 85.20 in the post-test. The paired t-test results showed a sig. value = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the Problem Based Learning model had a significant effect on students' learning outcomes. In conclusion, the Problem Based Learning model is proven to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes and can serve as an alternative approach in Pancasila Education. Teachers are encouraged to implement this model to create a more engaging and contextual learning experience while enhancing students' conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills.
