Abstract

ABSTRAK

Melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek, diharapkan kreativitas dan motivasi siswa dapat meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan model PjBL serta mengetahui pengaruh penerapannya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Eksperimental dan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, yang mana penelitian ini dilakukan hanya pada satu kelompok tanpa adanya kelompok pembanding. Responden penelitian ini adalah 19 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket pre-test dan post-test yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya untuk mengukur motivasi belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket motivasi belajar yang kemudian diubah menjadi skor, selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik. Uji data dilakukan menggunakan uji paired t-test untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata antara angket pre-test dengan rata-rata 61,84 dan angket post-test dengan rata-rata 75,79. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi kekayaan budaya Indonesia.

ABSTRACT:

Through project-based learning, it is expected that students' creativity and motivation can increase. The purpose of this study was to describe the PjBL model and to determine the effect of its implementation on students' learning motivation. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental design and One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, in which this study was conducted on only one group without a comparison group. The respondents of this study were 19 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Bendungan Kudu Jombang. The instruments used were pre-test and post-test questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability to measure students' learning motivation. The data collection technique used was a learning motivation questionnaire which was then converted into a score, then the data was analyzed using statistical analysis. Data testing was carried out using a paired t-test to test the research hypothesis. The results showed a difference in the average between the pre-test questionnaire with an average of 61.84 and the post-test questionnaire with an average of 75.79. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05), which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can increase student learning motivation in the subject of science, material on the richness of Indonesian culture.
