Abstract

Learning the yellow book has a very important role in the pesantren education system. The yellow book is a source of Islamic knowledge needed at Islamic boarding schools. However, learning the yellow book requires an understanding of the nahwu tool as a basis for reading the book. In this context, the nahwu wadhih book is considered the right choice in teaching the yellow book at Islamic boarding schools. This study identified three main problems. First, how is the study of the book of nahwu wadhih in the book of fatqul qorib at the almuhibbin modern Islamic boarding school. Second, how is the use of the nahwu wadhih book in learning the yellow book fathul qorib at the almuhibbin modern Islamic boarding school. Third, the supporting and inhibiting factors for the use of the nahwu wadhih book in learning the yellow book fathul qorib at the almuhibbin modern Islamic boarding school. The research method used is a descriptive and qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and data validity testing using observation and triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that learning the book of nahwu wadhih at the almuhibbin modern Islamic boarding school involves preparation in selecting books, teaching methods, and media. The learning process begins with an explanation of the rules by the teacher, equipped with examples and examples, and ends with an evaluation. The use of the nahwu wadhih book in learning the yellow book fathul qorib involves student interaction in searching for the meaning of the book before the teacher arrives. Supporting factors include the teacher's enthusiasm in motivating students, while inhibiting factors include students' difficulties in understanding the theory and use of Arabic in the book. It is hoped that this research will make a positive contribution to the students at Al Muhibbin Jatirogo Islamic Boarding School, Tuban
