Abstract

Qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to library management at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ngawi. This is motivated by the fact that currently very few people visit the library. Therefore, the task of parents is to educate and direct their children according to their talents. Because early childhood is full of great curiosity, they desire to become individuals who have adequate abilities according to their level of maturity. The data collection methods used in this study were passive and active observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. While data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification (drawing conclusions). The results of the study show that the planning for managing the library at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ngawi is quite good, where the management program planning is carried out every semester, also complements the facilities and infrastructure, and management financing is very safe,) the implementation of library management at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ngawi is also very good, where this implementation is divided into mandatory visits and non-compulsory visits. Supervision also runs smoothly which is carried out once every semester, which includes what targets have been achieved, what obstacles can be overcome, and what programs need to be improved
